DS3000 is used in many applications where a high friction pad is required. Although it has one of the highest friction coefficients, it remains easy to control due to its stable coefficient at all temperatures. It is very commonly used in world rally cars on tarmac stages and in circuit racing. These pads offer reduced bedding-in time, high friction coefficient, high initial bite and are relatively easy on brake discs. Typical uses include GT production, World rally, National rally and V8 supercars. Extreme road and race applications only.
